woot, got tracking number for my STI’s window visors.

i got initial pricing on that new rc chassis i wanted to get. 380 shipped. means 1200 running cost. that’s like my JDM chassis range.. will think this through as i can also get the basic one as spare parts and drop the running cost by 250.. i usually buy 2 kits at a time for spares so..

anyway have a nice tuesday everyone!!

wait 380 for the pro chassis...what is the other $820 for!? I'm assuming you have batteries, remote, receiver, charger, etc....maybe need a steering servo, ESC...

then rest for body and wheels tires which i already have.

Yeah older bodies do end up becoming 'classics'. I forget, what body were you planning to use? You mentioned it was a hatch if I recall.

yah rover mini body.

so got pulled over today for making sense. i was cruising 70mph on a 70mph hwy in the pos jetta. cop told me i had to pass the car on the right and only use the left lane for passing. well, i told him i was about to do just dat and get out of the left lane but the car in the right lane sped up and i knew the cop was behind me so wasnt about to go faster than the speed limit.

he was like ok dat makes sense. so we were both

he let me off with no warning no ticket and gave me a hand shake and well wishes for a safe rest of my trip.

I'm glad you didn't have to make a donation to the states bank account Ken. Also glad that the police are trying to enforce not camping in the left lane. You were in a tough spot, glad the trooper was a reasonable guy. That is a real problem in my part of the world as well as those who insist on speeding up when you pass them.

Oh man Ken no push button start! How will you survive??? LOL ;-)

As the owner of a generator that I use to run my pond, freezer, and fridge in tough times, I'm all for a little back up.

think i’m going to pass on that RC car. the thing won’t be ready to ship till the new year they said. defeats the purpose as i wanted to play with it during the winter break. anyway..

use that fund towards my real cars i suppose.

so today during my break, going to watch yt to learn more how to operate that honda generator.

happy friday everyone!!.

Ultimately the extruder size, bed/table size, tolerance of motors are doing to be cost driving factors. That davinci nano is actually pretty appealing to me. Only complaint is having to use their filament.
