Nice. Been talking With Mike410b and I think these Wedsport sa10r in zebra black are a serious contender for the civic.

18x8.5. Can still use my existing tires. 10lb weight savings per corner (Wedssports are 19lbs). And with the black/machined look they wont "vanish" against a white car like an all black wheel. I like the current black/machined OEM wheel...just not a fan of weight (28lbs each wheel).

Not a civic but you get the idea.

Also...they were the style/model he was looking at for his Fit haha. Not sure about color though.

Lastly, my buddy with the GTI just ordered a short shifter off a s3 or s4...I forget what he said. He mentioned it shortened the throw by 20% and it was only ~$50 from the dealer.

Nice wheels! I'd definitely go for those for the Civic.

I've been wheel and power upgrade shopping for the GD. Amazing how many things are no longer available. Supercharger and turbocharger kits seems to have all been discontinued. May end up k swapped.

My top wheel choice right now are Volk CE28 Club Racer's in 16x7 and 48mm offset.

Love volks....wallet doesnt. I'd jump on a set of ZE40s or te37s in a heart beat.

Such a shame when parts get discontinued. Just have to keep an eye out on the for slae section.

Was thinking of 57drs again...but they just aren't "beefy" enough for the bulky 10th gen civic. Even the rays 57transcends are nice...but @ $500/wheel not sure I can do that.

Wedssports are $300ish each in the size and offset I want.

those weds look yummy.

i use to run SA55M's on my previous ride and they were good wheels. light and well made.
i luv their concavity. if japanese car, i would definitely consider those wheels.

i have a boombaracing short shifter adapter on my R. feels pretty good and throw is significantly shorter and weighed. not the best shifter but not expecting too much from euro cars as far as shifter feel.

yah also note that any wheel that do not have spokes meet the lip will appear much smaller than those that do. especially in darker colors. my 18" super light weight OZ with short spokes appear like 17's when compared to my 19" OZ i run in the summer. haha

And they are quality wheels!

I wish the 16's were 7" wide. I'm looking for a 16x7 in 4x100 with a 45-48mm offset that are lighter than ~15lbs. So far, the CE28's are the only thing I have found. Would certainly prefer something less expensive.

Edited to add...running a 16x7 in +40 now that weigh 16.3 lbs each. Looking to bring the wheels inboard and drop some weight.

Been wheel shopping. I can completely see why so many people end up with Enkei PF01's. They strike a good balance between weight and price.

WedsSport TC-105N with center caps - $1632, 12 lbs
Enkei PF01 with center caps - $960, 14 lbs

Both are 16x7 +43. I redid my calculations once I realized the factory sport wheels are 15x6 and 55mm offset. The 16x7's in +43 should work. I'm getting mild rubbing on the rear fenders with the +40's on big dips. Hoping 3mm's will be enough to get them off of the outer fender tabs. Planning on lowering it so trying to account for that. May need to take some measurements tonight.

Yeah was eyeing those TN-105N's as well...but the $ was just a hair too much at $500/ea.

Same with the SSR GTV-02s were close...get me around $375/wheel vs the $425+ and maybe.

Advan RZ (bronze) or RZII (hyper black) were in the same boat as TN-105s.

Want a great wheel for <$400/wheel.

You are right about Enkeis. Pricing is good and they are a good wheel. Those GTC01s are nice. Not sure what "hyper black" is...but the pictures sure look like they are just silver...But the GTC01-RR are legit...but back to wallet breaking pricing @ $500+/each haha.

Hard to beat the SA10r's for my purpose. Plus they come with centercaps too! Maybe I just wait until tax time or save up every week. Maybe the enkei PF07s...too many choices.

Looks like we are shopping with the same goals.

I will have to run the wheel options by the wife. Sometimes she shocks me and wants to cough up the dough and sometimes she want's to spend less.

Just got off the phone with Hasport. So disappointing that 10 years later there still isn't a K-swap kit for the GD. He said that no complete solution has still been developed and we even went backwards in some ways. Hondata no longer supports the swap. Currently there is no way to K swap a Fit and not have a CEL light and no way to do the swap without significant wiring and customization.

If any of you hear of a turbo or supercharger kit for sale for a GD, please let me know!

You should be able to beat that pricing on the TC105 for 16x7, my pricing on TC105N in 16x7 is like $1400. Would PM any vendor for a better price.

Enkei RR pricing is no joke, they're not giving stuff away.

SA10R would look so nice, I'm a big fan.

As far as spokes going to wheel 'rim,' making things look bigger. This is 100% accurate, this is why my Advans look HUGE from certain angles.

Part of it is the $156 for 4 Wedds center caps. I know it's just me being cheap, but I get irritated when wheels don't come with the cap.

I'm at $2112 with shipping for 4 CE28 Club Racers with caps and Rays lug nuts shipped to my address.

So, my options right now range from basically $1000-2000. Still shopping, but I sure like the sound of $1,000 better.

i never ran center caps on tuner wheels. they look better without. i even painted the hub matte black to hide away the rust on the GD and GE.

then all these tarred pebbles all over my side street to my house cause they were doing spot repairs.. wtf

then i was working on wiring my new shutoff timer for the bathroom fan, had the breaker turned off, told my wife im working on the fan switch thinge... then right when i was about done and ready to test, i hear my wife saying the breaker had tripped to my kid who was trying to use the bathroom which is on the same circuit as the one i was working on..

i told her dont touch it cause im working on live wire, but she had already turned it on without asking me. wtf mang.. like i said... so much faktardation.

at least the fan switch timer thingie worked, im home, and im going to have an icecream real soon.

RFP1's would be my choice if enkei for Fits..well, if they come in the size, width, and offset you want. ive had a few sets of RPF1's and SSR TypeC's back in the day and they were super light weight.

A cheap set of tuners would be the Konig Feather wheels... also tirerack sells their version sport wheels that were pretty light weight too. i forget the model but Hootie has a set on his ride which were the same ones i had on my GE for winter set.
