Fit Freak from Jacksonville Fl that needs help
So guys im new to the forum and I need a little steering in the right direction. I just bought my new Fit(last week). I already have my Tein springs on. Now im looking at doing carbon. I like the Seibon lip kit. Any suggestions? I also hate having red headlights. I would like the black ones or projectors without going through the hassle of JDM conversion. Would I be better off buying the NHB headlights?
Next thing is the rear garnish from Seibon, is there a hole for the wiper on the back? And last I've never been on any forum before and I just wanted to say this site is amazing.

Congrats on the brand new Fit! You must be super excited. Carbon fiber is a personal thing, so it's really up to you. Just a word of advice, I know i looks super good, but if you're going to put on a cf front lip, be extremely careful of how you drive. Even at stock height, being very careful, I've scraped. If you scrape the cf, it'll eventually turn yellow! That's the only downside. There's a how to somewhere in the forums,(just do a quick search), on how to paint your headlights any color you want. This is the most economical route for you to take. I believe Smeister wrote it up. He did an EXCELENT job. He also wrote up a DIY on a retrofit if your interested. That also was EXCELENT. I believe the rear garnish has an indention where the wiper comes out. Either you have to drill it yourself, or get it professionally done. I've seen a version with and without the molding for the H, so before you buy, really look at the pictures and description. I hope that helped. Sorry so long.
No thats great man thanks. Yeah I know all about the carbon. I just sold my baby for my Fit. A 1996 Honda Prelude Si. T81 turbo, full lip kit with Tein Super Street coilovers. I just wanna a nice clean look without gettin ricy you know. The Mugen lip looks clean. I've been checking HondaFitTuner.com for pics and prices.
I just installed a set of Black headlight's on my metallic silver and I think it look's just like the JDM Fit/Jazz(it also was very easy, read some write-up's posted before if you need help). As for a clean look(my opinion)PLEASE don't get the red type-R emblem's(everyone and their mom has one)and try to stick with no more than a 2 color scheme for that clean look(the less the better).Nice to see another Floridian joining the forum's.Good Luck and have fun with your new Fit.
I agree with WOW. Cf is nice and i love it but the front lip is gonna be hard to keep in good shape. The other comment about the red H badges is correct aswell. Most people have them and they are kinda getting played out. I should know cause im a fellow MR fit guy with the red Type R badges. haha. Good luck on it though. If you want black headlights there is a group buy going on through Bernardi parts if you want new ones and dont want to pull yours apart and paint them yourself. Heres the link if your interested. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...rdi-parts.html.
I would highly suggest looking at pics of that seibon lip installed. IMHO it look like crap. It makes the car look like it has a underbite. It IS different than the ones made by ABS dynamics which dont stick out as much. The seibon Garnish you must drill out for the wiper. As far as the lights.... if u can be without the car for 1 day open them up and spray them. If not buy the black ones.
Yeah I dont know about that lip anymore. But I just ordered my OEM carbon spoiler frm Carbon Creations. It actually lines up with the original mounting holes and has the top cover plates like the stock spoiler. Any suggestions on what to do next body wise? I was thinking lip kit? Or Volk TE37 Time attacks!!!
Very nice wheel's
(I thought of a pair myself),but just to expensive for my car right now.Nothing beat's a nice drop in ride height and some clean wheel's.You can have all the body work in the world, but if your car is stock height and wheel's,it won't look the part.Good Luck on whatever part's you choose.

hey. Congrats on the fit. You are going to LOVE the carbon creations spoiler, it mounts exactly like OEM with the caps and all. On the website, that blue fit is mine. =]
If you are going 2 get the NHBP headlights, sell the stock ones 2 me. =]
