Just bought a Fit
Hey guys!
I had no idea what the fit was until a week ago I saw one and test drove it. After I drove it I found this site and how many helpful and knowledgable people there were who love this car.
I am picking up my new Fit tonight after I get off work!!! It is an 08 SSM Sport Auto, I went with auto cause I cant stand driving manual in all the traffic. I got floor mats and the cargo cover included in the deal
but they tried to charge me 388 for the chrome exhaust finished 
, I caught them though!
I am trading in my 2000 v8 Diodge Dakota 4x4 so I expect to get much better mileage (15mpg) even if I hit the throttle a lot! Plus I do not loose that much cargo space if I need it!
But I am very excited to see what this car can do
, and maybe start modding in a year or so! This will probably be my only actual post for a while, but I will definetely be lurking on every thread

Well I just got to drive the Fit home last night and to work this morning and wow.. i love it. You really dont notice a lack of power that I expected going from a v8 to the 4banger. The Sport shift mode really helped get the power when I needed it and to keep the RPMS low when I didn't. Usually one way to work in the truck I would see the gas gauge go down... not in the fit though!
Oh and I got a SSM.
The best part is I can actually fit it easily in the garage!
I am soooo happy and thanks for the warm welcome! I will try to get a pic or 2 tonight!

I had a 2000 Dodge Dakota but it was abotu dead so I traded it towards the fit. So happy I did.
I installed the floor mat clips last night, it turned out well except the holes on the back didnt match up. Oh well
