I'm a fit owner again! Yay

After my 07 Nighthawk Black was rear ended and crushed to death last month, I just bought myself the 08 fit today since insurance finally paid out. I had to wait about 2 hours because they didn't have the Blackberry Pearl in stock. The good thing is Honda gave me the car for only $300 more than what I paid for the previous. I would just like to say thanks to those who convinced me on getting the 08 in the previous post.

Hello everyone. I'm back and I'm Fittin' again.

I don't know what insurance did with it. They took it away and paid me the full value of the car. Most likely, it's considered salvage title now. The engine wasn't damage, but the intercooler was gone and basically dried out. There was severe frame damage, which was the reason why they considered it total. The doors didn't align. I couldn't open the driver side door after the accident. I would guess that the insurance would probably sell the engine, radio, transmission, dashboard and all other working parts. They would have to fix the whole frame of the car if they were to restore it because of all the minor dents in the different areas of the car. But who knows, they might swap it with another fit body and resale it. You can carfax it. The vin is JHMGD338677S052266. I doubt it'll be on sale yet because insurance took the car 3 weeks ago.

The reason I was asking is because I want to buy the Nighthawk black headlights, and I could easily get it from a wrecked FIT. Ill check it on carfax though just to see. Thanks

Sorry, but the left headlights were basically gone along with fog lights in the accident. The right one might be ok. I think one of the fog lights might still work, but not sure because the bumber fell off rather than getting completely smashed. It's because the Camary's rear end is very high off the ground that the lower bumper didn't get smashed completly.

It's kinda sad to say, but if I totalled my Fit I probably would get another car.

Of course you know I was seriously joking about the Yaris. But I know what ya mean. I wanted to get the 2008 Civic LX. But space and fuel efficiency is my priority right now. I need to move alot of stuff around. My friend wanted to sell his S2000 to me, but I wouldn't be able to put up with the insurance since it's a pure sport/performance car. Plus, I need to move stuff around alot of the time. S2000 is no good for transporting big objects. The Civic LX fell short of space, unfortunatly. I don't think I'd be happy driving an element though. So, that's why I got the fit again. *Sigh* Yeah, it is kinda sad cuz I wanted to keep my old fit, but needed a car to replace it and can't wait for body shops to take their sweet time fixing it.

Here it is. I just put my rims back on. I need to buy coilovers to close the wheel gap. It'll probably be my next mod.

EDIT: Radiator, intercooler. Sorry, I meant radiator. I always get them mixed up cuz they have similar functions.
