New poster here. I just bought a new 2008 Honda Fit about 2 weeks ago. It's nighthawk black. Sadly it's the base model. My loan from the credit union was maxed out so it's gonna have to sit stock and base for a while. But I love it either way and would like to spiff it up a little if I get my new job (an extra 11k a year will help me there). Just like to say hi.

I never thought I would wanna mod my car before, but you're right. I'm really eager to start learning about it. I plan on having the car for a long time, so I want it to be all it can be. But a stock Fit, IMO, is still nicer than most other things on the market.

Welcome! Another new member here, I just picked up a 2007 Silver base model fit. The previous owner put in tint and alarm with remote. Mine's upgraded with 15" alloys with Fuzion VRI tires through, I recommend this setup. My car handles great! I would consider lowering it, but I need to be able to drive in snow where I live, so that's out for me. Enjoy your new car!

 

Yeah, rear hatch window, rear vents and rear passenger windows are on my plan to be tinted. After market rims and wheels too. Where I live the roads are awful, and the back roads by my complex and grandmother's house (where I park) are full of deeeeeeeep pot holes, so any body kit accessories would be totally torn apart, so those are out of the question here, along with lowering.
