The title says it. Does this site make money of ads and stuff and if it does where does it go to?

 

I am sure the site makes money with the BILLIONS of scam and nonsense advertising it has.... and it all goes into the pocket of "Internet Brands".

 

same with hondatech. iirc IB is getting sued by HoMoCo

 

The money can go to you if you want. Internet Brands is a publicly owned company, with $76 million cash on hand as per this story last month.

Interesting, but the graph looks bad IMO. Has dropped over the past couple of months and now it is pretty flat. Odds are people will lose interest and it will slip again before it gets better.

No dividends either, looking at the history my guess is it is being mismanaged because it is bloated with overhead right now. Clearly no maintence is being done on this site except by our dedicated Admins and Moderators which is a clear sign of neglect in my mind.

If they have that much cash on hand they should be paying dividends to shareholders. However they are likely looking to be a target for takeover, this is the only reasons for keeping money on hand in a company like that.

I give the stock the big thumbs down for investment return.

 

i think most forums use the funds to pay for the server and maintenance
costs?
