Noobie here

My first Honda and just picked up an 09 Blackberry Pearl Sport AT. So please don't flame me to hard due to my lack of knowledge in this market. LOL
also if anyone wants to answer do we need to do the same mods like the GD in order to use JDM bodykits?

Congrads on your new car and welcome to the Fit Freaks forum. There is a lot of great information which is shared and passed along here. Post up some pictures of your ride and let us know what your plans are for the car.

congrats! that bb pearl is a nice color. in fact, it was my wife's first
choice but dealers around my area did not have it in the trim she wanted
so went with white.

Thanks for the welcome guys. It's more of a daily right now due to my other cars aren't really daily driver friendly. Towards the end of this year I am going to start modding it though. I'm still trying to figure out whether you still need to do the jdm reinforcement bars on the 09 to fit the jdm body kits.
Will post up pics after i was her.

for jdm conversion you need bumper, rad support, crash bar, headlights, hood, and fenders i believe. at least that is the parts list for the gd3. its a costly mod.

The 09's JDM conversion is even more involved from what I hear. I can't remember all the stuff but it was a hefty list.

Yeah like Kyler and others, you gotta spend a ton just to get ready for a jdmbk. Look at the sticky thread at the top.
Get some lightweight wheels, by spring /summer there will be spring/ coilover
choices. Take it slow, plan it out
