My wife and I are owners of an old-beat up but enduring 1995 Lumina. A few problems came up in 2007 so we checked out possible options. The 2008 Fit caught our eye, but the financial situation was not right back then to make a new purchase. Thankfully, we were able to patch up the Lumina so that it could run for another year. It still does!

Now that the $$$ is in place, we decided to take a giant leap forward and just go for the best car that we could find within a reasonable price range. We both had the Fit on our mind for a long time, but kept our options open. Last month, we narrowed it down to the 2009 Honda Fit and the 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback SL. It wasn't a quick decision, but careful research made it much easier to pick the Fit.

Yesterday we went to our dealership and announced our decision: YES, we want the FIT!

Paperwork has been filled out. Next step is to bring the certified cheque after they tell us that our car is ready to be picked up. Should be within this week.

First colour choice: Tidewater Blue
Second colour choice: Milano Red

good choice as the Fit = econobox/sports car and the versa is just not as fun. Shame as Nissan builds some great cars, they just went too French with the Versa (The Renault ownership I suppose)

I thought Tidewater was a blah color in the brochure, but in person it knocks me out, I love it!

Actually the dealer at Nissan did a "better job" of selling the product...but it was the Fit that did the best job at selling itself. That's how damn good the Fit is.
