Bought a FWD.

Hey guys, i just picked up my 09 sport this past thursday!
I was looking at a used Taffy white 08 with 15k on it, but the asking price was 17,900 as opposed to the new one i bought for 16,900...it was the only fit on the lot (out of the 13 new ones there) without any market adjustment ($1500+) or dealer equipment add-ons.

I really wanted white, but all the whites were automatic (new & used) and this one was the only sport manual at sticker price...so i can live with black...i just have to wash it everyday.

I had it tinted the same day, and just the other night i blacked out the headlights. i'm waiting on some lowering goodies right now i'm trying hard to not mod my new daily soo much...it's hard.

Here's what i used to drive daily 80+ miles a day...you can see why i got a fit. Now i just gotta keep it around to tow around 240

I like both of your cars Chuck. I've seen you drive around Temple City a few times.

mm lookin fine as hell already. I'd personally keep the spoiler unless you have another one coming in mostly cuz the holes but i like the subtle look too

No problem man. You put a lot of hard work into your cars and it definitely shows. Plus I got to show some love to a fellow motorsports enthusiast. Except that I do road racing. I'd love to do some drifting in the future though.

My GE8 looks like this with a TYPE ONE sticker and Spoon Sports Mark sticker on the rear hatch and bumper. I'm also dropping off the GE8 at Pro Tint on Saturday. We should definitely meet up sometime man. I'd like to check our your dope rides in person.

Nice progress on yer GE8 right there. Keep the hatch wing IMO

I am digging those wheels. What are they? They kinda look like SprintHart CP-Fs/CP-Rs...but I know those definitely won't fit properly on our cars because of offset.

yea, i'm kinda wondering if it'd be clean without it too...i really want a duckbill/spoon type of wing, but no dice yet. i wish JDP would make a more aggressive spoiler

Absolutely it's fun to hard park but even more fun at the track when that adrenaline is pumping. which host do you usually roll with?

I really wanna get into road racing but my car is like permanently setup for oversteer. I have a buddy with an ae86 with an f20a in it that's setup for both, so i think in may i might roll to an event over at Streets. cant wait! and yea, we should definitely meet up sometime!

Yeehhh, they're closer to the cpf's, but rota Track R's are the near-direct copy of the cpr's .. alls u need is the red vinyel around the center of the rim. these are konig Retracks...(is the name a coincidence? i think not!)

Chuck, I hung out with Jesse Lee last night. He mentioned that he had a friend named Chuck who drives a black GE8 with white wheels. It's a small world after all.
