NOOB w/ a new FIT
Hello forum. For the last few days I've been cruising the forum and posting here and there. Thought I'd post this now that I've finally officially joined the FIT owners. Picked it up this morning... just couldn't wait for the 2012. Plus, I like the concave indentation of the 2011 bumpers where the fogs lights are over the 12's new bumper.
I few different cars since high school. My first was a 92 hatch si with h22 swap done by prospeed in LA but I cannot find pictures.
Del Sol with original B16.

2007 AP2
09 Si
I had this sucker for a little while...
And now...
Sorry about the image size.

Financially, the business is not doing so well so I had to choose a car that was affordable but yet something I would still enjoy driving. The fit was the best option. Not to knock on other car manufacturers, the Nissan Versa and Scion Xa are not my cup of tea (nor any of the American competitors in the same bracket). The fit was perfect. Maybe it is because I am a Honda fan, as you can tell from all my previous cars.
Moreover, other benefits I saw in the Fit were its MPG. It is no hybrid but it is something that is stylish, roomy, good on gas, and affordable.
So far, I have only about 25 miles on it but I have loved every minute spent in it. What it lacks in power it makes up in other little things... Plus, it is much better than what I came from. After the business went down hill due to poor economy, I down graded to a really beat up accord which lacked operating windows, doors, lights, etc...

Welcome to the Fit family and glad you picked that hot Milano Red Fit but I am a little bias!
You've had some great previous rides. Any modifications in the future for the MR Fit?

thanks guys! much appreciated... i've always wanted a milano red honda, excluding my del sol since it was older with sun fade. but i've always loved the red. next to the red the ferrari uses, the MR is my second loved color.
i hope to slowly modify here and there. im not expecting racing status in the fit, nor hella flush or slammed. just looking for a nice, clean, and functional ride with this little guy. tint will come soon, upgrade the speakers (i have the navi already so wouldn't want to get rid of it so anytime soon, $2000!!!), coilovers with a modest lower, some wheels, and possibly small jdm goodies here and there. i wanna leave the car as stock as possible with minor charismatic personal changes. LOL!
