Not sure if I'm posting in the right place, but I paid for a zeta armrest, he took pics of it and it looked like one from his thread, but then he sent me a 9.99 ebay one when I paid $56 for his "zeta armrest". Not only was it a replica one, it was damaged and not able to be installed when he said it was in good condition.

This was the ebay item that was sent to me.

I file this as a dispute, and paypal wins in my favor for a refund.



Next, he says that the item has not been shipped.

Is this for a GE8 or GD3 Fit? It does not look like the Zeta armrest I bought from Zeta for my GE8.
Regarding pricing- Did you notice that the $9.99 armrest had a $60.00 shipping charge? So actual sale price is $69.99!!
Some Ebay sellers lowball prices and inflate shipping costs so they do not have to pay as much in fees to Ebay. Fees are based on a percentage of the sale price, not the shipping cost.

If you used paypal, contact them & dispute the charges- they will refund your money.

 

^^Agreed, but now Ebay even charges you a percentage off of the shipping cost as a seller.

OP just file a claim with paypal and you should be alright.

 

This is a dispute between you two and you two should work it out and not spread your discord with all members. Not tring to be a bad guy here but this is not the place to bash each other. There's a lot of questionable info like 9.99 + 60.00= 80.00? and if ya didn't like it or it didn't fit properly you need to work it out w/ the buyer. No one else has had a prob. w/ what he's sold them. If ya want a used armrest for 30.00 that's what ya got, right? Work it out but this whinning gets ya nowhere fast.

the whole point is that he's saying that he didnt receive the item and he gave me the wrong item. i wouldn't have paid $56 shipped for an item that i knew wasnt what i was described. i would've paid more for the real deal, but i thought this was an authentic zeta armrest, not a cheap ebay one. regardless, i shipped it back to him with tracking. says it was shipped to him, paypal gave me his address (and was also on the box) and everything... and now he's saying its the wrong address and it wasn't shipped. hoping that i win the dispute though.
