So much to be thankful for

May every day be a Thanksgiving Day for all, for we are blessed with so much!

One doesn't have to look very far. As we fuss over premium/regular, dyno/synthetic and the price of gas, then stop by Starbucks on our way home, the price of it all is someone else's livelihood for an entire family.

Rightfully so we worry about the down economy, unemployment, keeping our homes and express our concerns over contaminating the ground and water with used oil dumped on the ground. Many more have yet to know what it's like to have a roof over their heads. And those who have managed to build their so-called homes built of cardboard boxes and wooden crates, live on top of toxic wastes.

May we be thankful everyday that we've been blessed to live in a land of abundance, where we can speak our minds and dream about tomorrow as we remember others who have little or none at all.

God bless America! ...and the Fit freaks on this forum!

Had a wonderful day of Thanksgiving with my daughter and son-in-law and 'new' family in Maine. It even snowed the day before.

My thanks is that we are all so fortunate to be 'stuffed'. Let's all consider those, in some special way, who might not be so fortunate this Holiday Season.

That is neat, wish we had a real change in seasons down here, but thankfully there is food on the table and work.I am grateful for that and wish others the best. JJ
