New Fit owner and proud of it!

Hey guys!

Two weeks ago I picked up a 2010 TW Fit Sport A/T from a Honda Certified Used dealer and so far I am absolutely loving it! I remember driving my dad's Fit base off the lot in 2008 and instantly falling in love with it. Since then I've been itching to get my hands on my very own, and I'm glad that the planets aligned in my favor and I was able to get one with just over 15k miles for $16,xxx out the door.

My only gripe is that I wish I could have gotten M/T instead, but there weren't any other taffy white sports with such low mileage in the area.

I have been trolling this forum for a while now, but it's good to finally be a part of the FF family . I am looking forward to sharing future posts with y'all as well as uploading pictures soon! (Thanks to the vastly knowledgeable members of fitfreak.net, I'm also waiting for my Swift springs and VG Shark Fin coming in the mail )

Congrats and welcome!!! I am sure you'll love your car but if you like manual you might be looking to trade soon...it's a diff car with auto vs manual. Our small underpowered motor makes the car slow as a Prius with the auto...but with manual it is quite peppy. If you find the performance adequate though and don't get bored driving auto then the auto will probably keep you happy for years! I think it depends how you drive- I drive it like a go kart with lots of launches from red lights and aggressive driving

After nearly two years and 52k miles I still love driving this car every day!!!

I bought my 2013 Fit Sport 5MT for like $16,500 brand new in 2012. Took some negotiating...

Great color choice by the way it took me a long time to pick silver over the darker gray and the white. I love the white Fits de badged. Very clean looking !

Fellow TW 2013 Fit sport Navi here. I don't think the car is as slow as balls as people made it seem. Coming from an 08 TL it doesn't feel under powered, its as quiet at 75 as my TL unlike the manual running over 1000rpm higher. No 2nd day quarterbacking. Enjoy what you bought. Its a better car than you'll imagine I promise. Welcome here. Post pix soon.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the support, and sorry for such a late reply! I've been pretty inactive on FF, but still have been using it as a DIY resource for the past few years.
Honestly, I forgot I started a post here so long ago, but I was looking through my old email account and realized that I've left all y'all hanging.

I mentioned in my first post that I was trolling the forums here... I have since learned the definition of that word and that is NOT what I was doing!

Anyway, I still have the same Fit, and while some days I envy the cars my friends drive, at the end of the day, I'm the one with rear seats that can be used by people with actual legs, cargo capacity that can put some crossovers and even trucks to shame, and the $700 annual insurance payments.

I've logged about 60k miles of trouble free miles these past couple of years and at 86k miles, this car still feels solid. I've made a couple of mods, but I'll save that for a different thread.

Still not sure how to upload images, but I'll give it a shot...

Thanks Samaden.

I haven't done too much to the car, but the DIY's I've done (swift springs, EBC brake pads, VG shark fin, LED side mirror cover) all came from the guys on FF.

Great forum and resource!
