My girlfriend and I just purchased a 2012 Fit sport (w/o nav).
We are happy with it, however, we didnt realize until we found this sight that so many yabbos are "tuning" them and putting body kits on them.
All we really want to do is re-badge the entire car to be a Jazz. So, if any of you have new condition Jazz carpets, Emblems, etc., please inbox me.
Also, very nice sight, loaded with information and decent folks. The search function is very handy although I do find that if you're too vague and just search "jazz" you get 149 topics you dont want and if you're specific and type "jazz carpets" you get nothing. All the same, i'll probably be popping in from time to time, also signed up on Clubjazz.net on the other side of the pond.

Well, first off when you call people a yabbos' it doesn't come off as being real nice. This site is dedicated to all Fit owners and that includes those who are into modifications of their cars and many who are not. There are tons of nice Fits on here and some that are the ultimate when it comes to modifications done by the owners. We do things to make our Fits look unique, run better, sound better and look more agressive. We love the car even with all it's cons and we all share a passion for our Honda micro. We build our cars into our vision and we share what we do and how to do with the entire community. In case you think I am a 20 year old - I am 56 years old and a drive a heavily modified 2007 Honda Fit.

So with that welcome to the Fit family and hope you will enjoy your new car. Post up some pictures when you can.

wasnt trying to insult. I merely believe that "tuning" and modding a 4 cylinder family hatch is...well, a bit of a waste. I'm of the opinion that if you're going to "tune" a car, let it be 300zx turbo or even a miata... at least they are designed as sports cars. Again, I'm sorry, I honestly wasn't trying to offend anyone. We bought our car to enjoy as a simple economical family car, and i understand that not everyone feels that way. I just fail to the see the point in it all i guess.

No problem but you can tune anything that has the potential to tune. The Fit is like a tuner sleeper because people look at it like it is nothing until they see one that has been modified. Like my friend Rod who shows a 2005 Honda Accord - you think family car but it has an OBX dual exhaust, CAI, full body kit and debaged. He has won nearly 30 Tuner and Import trophies with the car. The Fit is a tuners dream because there is so much you can do with it to make it more than just a family gas saver. Check out any of the large tuner web sites (Kings Motorsport, JDM Password, Zeta Products ) they all have products for our Fits - because the demand to modify is higher than not.

It's all good and don't worry about it! I have 23 tropies sitting on my shelf all won by my Fit and have beaten out Honda S2K's, RX 7, Nissans Z and several Scion TC's and VW's at several large shows in WV and Ohio. The trophies are all won as either the Best Import, Best Honda, Best Tuner and then the car has even been pulled as Best Post 1975 against several other imports. So you see the potential for the Fit to be tuner car are very good. The best thing I did was to get rid of the exhaust and put on a Megan Racing Axel back dual tips - the car sounds so much better. Most people here have a CAI which helps the car to get more air and run nicer. The stock tires are crapping and once you replace them, you'll wish you had done it sooner. Everything we do improves the performance, looks and ride of the car.

Waste of money - never!
