Hi just bought a 2008 Fit LX, automatic, Taffeta White for my girl friend with 37000 km on it. Will have it next Friday.

I'm the one who take care of it, maintenance, cleaning, detailing. So I'll be around here quite often.

I have been looking around her a few time yet and just register this morning..

A quick question, I see the GD1, GD3 number. I guest they are referring too production time frame model and to the 4,5 and 6 digit of the serial number right?

If so mine is a GD3. Those number, are they matching production years?

Where can I find matching # vs years?

Is it crucial if I want to order some parts or I just go with the model (LX) and year?

Nice. They didn't have tw back when I was getting the 08 in the USA. Went with silver which was my second choice. I did however get the tw when the 09' was released.
