Newbie to the forum!

Hi there,

I've had my lovely Fit for close to 4 years now, and I absolutely love driving it. I'm not a car person, in that I wouldn't know a fuel line from well, anything else, so I'm hoping to get some answers to my questions I have.

Well, my first question is, how can I tell how many miles I actually have on my fit. I'm guesstimating I've racked up about 15,000 miles or so, but someone pushed the reset button on my dash, so it doesn't give me a true total. I've got about 6K since the reset. Any way to find out without taking the car apart?

The odometer can't be reset to 0. Just press the 'reset' button to cycle through the info displays and you'll see your odometer. Outside of that, the car won't remember how many miles you've put on the car v. anyone else.

Don't you have an owner's manual? The reset button should cycle through 4 displays as you press it --> Trip A, Trip B, Maintenance Minder (MM) oil life %, Odometer. Can't remember which one of the last 2 shows up first.

yah, might be a good time to just read through the owner's manual that is often times located in the glove box. GL!
