From an Evo 9 MR to a FIT!

Hey all,

Just introducing myself. I am Kris and I live in Miami. Just trying to get rid of my Evo 9 because a new baby kind of hampers the car payment process as well as insurance. Trying to talk the wife into getting the Fit. She has an Expedition and I have an Explorer. The Evo has to go though.

Come from a little bit of drag racing background. Got rid of my 500whp fully built SRT-4 last october. Now the Evo is getting a little 50 trim added to its diet before I sell it. It was making 327awhp/321awtq with just an intake, exhaust, flash.

Hmm...Let's see...The SRT-4 was sponsored by Crane Cams, AEM, DC Sports, AGP Turbo, and a couple of other folks...The Evo is sponsored by AEM, DC Sports, Seibon, and Forge Motorsport. Wonder if I can pick up anyone with the Fit!'

I see that they are on backorder at least from the local dealer and I still want to check out the Scion xB and the new Rabbit...But the Fit looks like it may...FIT. I just hope I can. I am 6' and 240lbs...So we will see.

Anyway, just introducing myself and saying hi. Take it easy.

You shouldn't have any problem fitting in the car. We've put much larger folks in without issue.

I'd say the Xb is a trend car, soon to be replaced by options from Nissan and cars like the Fit. As proven by vehicles like the Spoon Fit, modification is a definite possibility here and I think you'd have more fun with it.

Kris,

Welcome and hope you enjoy your FIT.

Do you think you will take your FIT to the track or do drag racing????

Congrats on your new baby.

The FIT is a very very safe car. That's good. Maybe you can keep your FIT long enough for your baby to drive it.
