Picked up by baby Saturday!

New here, new to Fit, new to Honda.

Picked up my 2015 EX-L two days ago. I am in total love. I'm coming off my long-term relationship with a '95 BMW 525i. (She's now my husband's car.)

I don't have much to offer as I'm not much of a "car person" and don't really have any plans to add to or modify my Fit. I'm here, I guess, to keep up on news and maybe learn some stuff.

Guess that's it.

Congrats. Picked up mine on Friday. Really enjoying it. No real issues other than a small scratch under the FIT emblem on the hatch. Nothing I really noticed till I detailed the car. Leather seems nice and tough, need some sill protection on the doors and the rear hatch. 2 kids really love dragging cleats and sneakers over the sills. Seamless purchase in Richmond VA, staff very friendly and respectful. I'm looking forward to getting a survey on the dealership. Drove home with a full tank of gas, with some left to spare after a fun weekend of driving.

The dealer installed that bumper protector and the lighted sill trim on mine. I would not have purchased the lit sills, but rather than wait for another car I took it. I just asked a bit off the price for it. It had every other option I wanted so I was thrilled to not have to wait. (To be clear, I hadn't custom ordered. I bought it out of the showroom days after they got it in.)

No kids for me to worry about, but I do have 2 big dogs. I haven't had them in it yet. I'm a little worried they are going to scratch the plastic on the doors.

Scratched doors

Unfortunately the doors do scratch pretty easily. My phone even scratched the inside of the door pull. Pretty disappointing. I'm sure someone will come up with something that will cover the doors or perhaps a padded armrest?
