New Fit Owner
My name is Matt and I bought my new 2015 White Orchid Fit EX manual just before Thanksgiving.
I spent about a month researching several makes and models. This site was very instrumental in helping me settle on a new Fit. So thanks!
I've had lots of both used and brand new cars, trucks, and SUVs over the years and eventually ended up customizing them all in some way. Having forums like this really makes that kind of thing a lot easier to do.
I've put just over 1200 miles on my Fit since getting it from the dealer and I'm fairly pleased with it so far. But there's always room for improvement. Here's my short list of upgrades I want to do, in no particular order.
1. Window tint (done on day 3)
2. Lowering springs (most likely will be Swifts)
3. Pads for door arm rests
4. Riser + cover for center arm rest
5. Change color of all dash and gauge lighting to red
6. More power (20hp - 40hp)
I chose the Fit because it was cheap, fun, and will easily last forever with minimal effort. It was kind of a no-brainer after the test drive. Being able to fill up for about $20 and get between 350 and 450 miles per tank while driving it like I stole it is a bonus.

I have the white EX with the CVT. I had the dealer tint the windows before delivery and add the trunk/bumper applique to prevent scratches. I wish it were white too. I have a friend that does vehicle wraps and he covered my hood, leading edge of fenders, hood cowl, and splash guards with white film. It's not an exact match, but its preventing road rash until the weather warms up and I decide if I want to keep it.
I'll be watching for posts on your mods, especially the armrests.
Enjoy your new ride!

Here is a link to some armrest options. I've been happy not resting my left elbow on hard plastic.
