Hello all. i signed up a couple of days ago. I've been interested in the fit ever since i saw the 5zigen one in honda tuning a year or 2 ago. I dont yet have one, but i plan on getting one early to late spring. Anyways, i just wanted to say whats up, and that a lot of you guys have really sick cars.

Considering the long waits some owners have endured it might be good to start looking now and find out what is the demand on dealers in your area.

Roughly 3 to 6 months is common and very high prices are the norm but sometimes you can get lucky and pick one up at MSRP or less (rare).

See if you can find other FIT owners in your area for a sneak peak and a drive maybe.

Plenty of time for you to do some planning and check out other people's mods.

 

yeah i know of the long waits for these babies, but then some people get lucky and get one in 3 days. :/

in anycase i have to wait until i get money, i currently have about $1.60 in my bank account. sooo i nedd to go to work and save.

but worry not, i will get a fit

nevermind, probably wont get a fit for some time now for 2 reasons.
1. my dad wont co-sign with me
2. i crashed my car today

that sucks, what happened?

 

well, i stop at a stop sign, looked left, saw no one coming, looked right, waited for a car and then went. But right when i pulled out i hit a guy in a blue truck.
I only gave hime a dent, about 1/4 deep and nome paint scrape. My car on the other hand is messed. the front right is jacked up and the radiator got cracked. here are a couple of pics.

I've done that before. I was coming out of a shopping center. Looked right then looked left then slowly pulled out but from the right some guy was going fast and NEARLY crashed into me.

I escaped but it was close. He didn't even slow a bit. I hit my brakes and avoided him. Now I always pull out carefully.

i dont know, he said he was going 45, which is the speed limit on that road.

also the road is "tricky", first of all on the left there is a small hill thing which also has some tall weeds on it, and also a little bit down the roda there is a small hill in the road. both of those combined sort of disallows you to see anyone in that part for a sec or 2.

But yeah, we are both fine except for my kness being a little banged up.

anyways we are gonna try to apoxy the cracks in the radiator and see if that will work. if not we found one for around $50. The main thing is to get my car drivable so i can go to school/work and to fix the dudes truck.
