Hi.
I live in the east bay. Just bought a 16' made in Japan. Got the gray color in EX. In studying the car I was glad I found out about the problems with the cars made in the New Mexican factory. Anyway, enjoy your car. BTW, the audio system is quite complex. Requires too many steps to use while driving.

My 2016 LX with 6 speed MT, made in Mexico and purchased December 30, 2015, is perfect. Not a single problem, not one.
The infotainment system is usable, it even has a knobs and buttons, not a touch screen.

Yeah the headunit is not the best and lack of Android auto. But nothing in the price range beats the utility + gas efficiency of Fit. Enjoy your new car!
