L15A7 Engine

Hi Guys

Thinking of using the fit i-vtec engine in an older car, was wondering if you guys knew if I could use the standard ECU or would I need to get a custom one from somewhere like Haltech ? I'd prefer to be able to use the original ECU if possible.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Support for the ecu stuff is limited depending on which fit your looking at getting the engine out of,, I gotta ask why the fit motor ?? its not special..

You might be able to get a computer for the Formula F engine package from Honda Performance Division..

I'd go with stand alone gauges and a Microsquirt or Megasquirt with the VTEC option.
The VTEC on my GD (Plain L15A not "7" is a solenoid activated unit. So interface should be not so bad.. But you know how plug n play goes... LOL
