Just wanted to introduce myself. I have bought Honda Fit in order to build B-spec rally car. I have been lurking and finding valuable information on some topics.

I am from sunny Clearwater, FL.

 

Welcome to the forum, which chassis do you have? Do you have a plan of attack for the car? And we have rally events in Florida???

 

I wish we had rally events in Florida. lol

There was one time NASA event at the Firm. I wish they would do it again.

We do have two RallyX options though: at the Firm every so often and SCCA RallyX in Port St. Lucie almost every month.

I have GE8 chassis. Got rally kit from Honda. Now trying to install it. Most likely will get a tune. Cannot really make any changes to engine due to B-spec regulations. However, will install Cusco LSD and Spec clutch. Hoping to have it ready early next year.

 

There's making changes,, and there is doing a really really good "stock" rebuild.

Sounds like a cool project.. Keep us up with some pics!

 

Just installed new brake lines, rotors, brake pads. Coilovers have been on for a while. Next is cat back. Will do it within two weeks.
