happy new owner of a 2016 Fit EX
Woo hoo! Just bought this car because I need to rebuild my credit. What better start than a car loan? I avoided ANY credit for years, and ended up with a low FICO.
Anyhow, I did a lot of research and ended up shopping for a Honda Fit. First, it's a Honda with it's reputation for longevity and reliability. Second, the reviews rave about the cargo space which is very important to me. Voila! New Fit owner!
Mine is Silver exterior with black cloth interior. Only 12k miles, so it's basically a new car. Certified Honda Used Car so it came with the extra year of factory warranty.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much. I am very pleasantly surprised. I read about slow acceleration and road noise, but coming from a 2004 Ford Ranger with 197k miles, this Fit is like a luxury car! And all the new fangled accessories that I thought would be useless are actually quite cool and useful. The cameras are especially great once you get used to them. And I actually like the CVT. A little bit of a learning curve but it beats any auto trans I've had before. The paddle shifter is awesome for downshifting while slowing down.
The short time I've owned this car it's fitting me like a glove. At the risk of sounding pessimistic, here's hoping it's not a lemon
Woot!

that's cool. my wife is not a car person but she like her GK. sucks that the vtc makes a loud rattling noise during cold start though.. started doing it about 15k miles or so.. my other 3 Fits never made that noise.

Luckily I didn't own this car when I was married or she would be filling it up with stuff!
