New to the forum

Actually our daughter is on her second Fit, I am simply the maintenance/repair guy. She was unlucky enough to be behind a service truck with ladders on top, yep they came off and bounced off of her Fit and a couple of other cars. Long story short, due to the damage literally over all of the Fit the insurance co totaled it. Since it only has 10,000 miles on it and she could buy it back for less than $2000, I told her to do that. It put $4000.00 in her pocket and gives her a great driving car with no payments. Not a great looking car though, dings and small dents all over it. The front bumper cover was hurt the worst so I got a new one and installed it. Here is my problem, the insurance body shop had removed the bumper cover and some lower items and just put them in the car when she picked it up. The image included is of the items that I can't figure out where they go. I have not been able to find a diagram online, would anyone here have one? Thanks for any assistance.

Welcome. What year fit? Looks like 2015± and assuming with the low miles?

Parts look like the splash shield on the bottom of the car. See this thread for pictures/discussion: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-generation-2015/90220-anyone-else-get-loose-engine-splash-shield-under-their-car-14.html#post1393186 and www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2015-honda-fit-5dr_ex-ka-cvt/front-fender.html

The two pieces in the right look like the parts 7 and 9 on this page https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2015-honda-fit-5dr_ex-ka-cvt/front-bumper.html

I can't place the top piece though, sorry. Can you post up more pictures?

Good to hear. Out of curiosity, what was that one piece at the top and where did it go haha

In the bumper diagram it is referred to as the lower air duct, [item 12], I don't have her Fit here now so I am not sure how it will fit but at least I know the general area it goes in.

Got any pics of the damage? I'd be interested to see how a ladder can cause a relatively new car to be declared totalled.

I don't have pictures. It was more than one ladder and they hit almost every panel. Knocked off one side mirror [$400 for that alone???] and put dings and dents all over the car. I believe the estimate was almost $11,000 and they valued it at just under $16,000. Not sure of the figures but they are close. The estimator had used a green paint pen to mark all the damage and I spend a good bit of time getting it off with lacquer thinner.
