New Fit owner

Been lurking and learning here for a couple weeks, absorbing all things Fit. This is a great forum, and a fantastic resource. After an exhaustive search finally found a 2011 Fit Sport 5MT (Grey) today. Really clean with 94k, all stock. Mainly for my son to drive, it’s his first time driving a manual. Will be fun.

Awesome find!! Welcome to the forum and that’s great your son wants to learn the art of the manual transmission. Not many people want too.

Still can’t believe it, but life is funny sometimes. Two cars in two days, and it is the first time I’ve ever owned two of the same model at the same time.

Haven’t driven either of them much, yet, but can say that in a lot of ways I prefer the GE8.

Not a great photo, but just a quick one this morning. Still have to bring Orange Fury to the dealer later for detailing. The '11 Sport is so nice.

Thanks! Yeah, both were tinted as purchased, which was nice, takes one thing off the to-do list.

Get the nano or ceramic tint. It really works - the 2018 has it and it is a measurable difference in temperature reduction in the car.

Yes

Other than that that's the only issue I see you the fit everything else is so perfect on and car it really is no need to discuss as it is perfect other than the rack of Power

if no turbo if you can tolerate noise and fumes probably yes. but the issue is not much torque within dat 20hp increase usually.

So what I need to do

To get the extra 20 horsepower don't Ray care about the noise
