Question Anyone have a source for the 2827 sized Parking Light Bulb located in the headlights

I think my Google-Fu is weak today.

Can anyone point me to a place where I can order the 2827 sized lightbulb?

If you're talking about the parking lights that are at the top of the headlights.. they are just normal 194/168 bulbs. (The small wedge/peanut bulbs) The rating on them should be 5W.

Acording to a post i made earlyer the 194/168 bulbs will fit but the 2827 bulbs are 4watt, and the 194/168's are 1.5w so they will not be as bright

Im not sure where u got 194/168 bulbs as 1.5W... but im pretty sure 194/168 are 5watts.

Im guessing you are referring to this?
Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply

If thats the case, they are talking about Mean Spherical Candela/Candlepower.
Hmm... if thats correct then 168 is brighter than 194?

Thumbs down Oh well...

Replaced the stock ones with a 168/194 bulb...not even close and barely acceptable, the stock bulb is waaaaaaaay brighter.

Now I need to find an online source for the stock bulb or "better"

By the way the stock bulb is marked TOSHIBA, 12V 5W, WY5W

EDIT - I think I found 'em!

Heres the difference in the 2825 and 194 bulb, the 2825 is about 2x brighter

If you're having trouble searching for these bulbs online, look for WY5W (amber) instead 2827. or W5W (white, US code 2825) bulbs. That's how they're labeled in Europe where they are commonly used.
