New to the forum and have just been lurking. I was wondering if any of you folks have purchased the JDM 3rd brake light assembly and if so. Did yours come with the rear snap-on cover?

I just bought an 08 Sport and when I installed the L.E.D 3rd brake light and attemted to reinstall the cover from my original light, they just don't match up?

Is this just an 08 issue? Or did the retailer just forget to include the back cover? They're closed during the weekend so I couldn't call. TIA.

 

Most likely they forgot the back cover. When I purchased mine I was given a back cover to go with the lights.

 

yeah they must have forgotten. so u bought the led light? u should have done my DIY led third brake light mod. Anyways the JDM 3rd brake light is smaller in height so yeah the cover won't fit back on.

 

Hmmmm I believe there was a new back cover that comes with the 3rd Brake Light. I think they are shaped a bit differently. Let me check when I get home to confirm.
