Brighter License Plate Bulbs

Hello all. Happy Friday! Just changed my plate bulbs last night. Here are the pics of before and after also with the panel taken off. The whiter wedge bulbs make a nice and clean look. What do you guys think? Enjoy!

You can change your rear plate light bulbs without removing that piece, just reach up from the outside and push the light covers to the right. With a little force they will slide to the right and then you can pull down and remove them / switch them.

Looks good though.

sup peter. the other way is just get behind the car. then reach under to the license plate bulb cover/cap, and push right on it. you can see on the cap it will have an arrow to the right and word "remove." it doesn't slide, but it's kinda in there the way a battery is in a game boy. like the battery spring is on the right side in an original game boy. so push it right a little and the left side should pop out of the hatch a little then you can remove the cover.

k sorry i probably made it sound all complicated, but just gently push it right and a little bit outward away from the hatch. don't push too hard because you may snap the plastic clip. if you do, a new one from the dealer is like 9 bucks i think.

hey where do you guys get these and how much are they?

i'm thinking of going cheap and grabbing these

DealExtreme: $4.50 9-LED Vehicle Signal Lights 2-Pack (12V T15 White)
or
DealExtreme: $3.98 5-LED Vehicle Signal Lights 2-Pack (12V T15 White)

(assuming these are the right size and all)
cheap china stuff

anybody for or against these?

WLED-WHP Pure White High Power

If you guys are looking for a clean pure and super bright white you should get these bulbs from SUPER BRIGHT LEDS.

Those coated bulbs(hyper white, etc) all give that blue/white color due to that blue coating they have. I have a pair of these LEDs on my car for my license plate and they look super close to 5000k hid color. They last super long and are damn bright lol.

Don't get the other kind of Led bulbs either, like these:
Those give off that blue/white look and are not so bright compared to the other LED bulb above (WLED-WHP Pure White High Power)

I will try to post picture some time when i get a chance.

P.S. Did I mention that they also light up the ground when there on at night :-)

Yeah I'm not sure if I want my license plate more visible to others. Especially if I'm causing mischief...

Looks really good, but I had to laugh a little. The first thing I did when I got my fit home was take out those bulbs. I hate those license plate lights. But it looks good on your car.
