help with smoked tail lights

which way is better to smoke tail lights... spray... or film???

I sprayed mine with 4 light coats of VHT Nite Shades spray tint.

The lights still shine bright when they are on.

Going to do the same to a set of tails soon too.

I also just got done reinstalling my fog lights after spray tinting them. Will post up some pics tomorrow.

i think they look better when the inside of the housing is painted.
