Just installed my Xenon Xenith HID

So basically, I just installed my XX HID. It was 'supposely' 8000K but now, I'm not sure if its still 'break in' period, or they just sent me the wrong bulb.

Left: What seems to be 6000K
Right: My most educated guess would be 8000K, and this is the color I love. lol

I'm just choked it didn't turn out the way I thought it would, but I'm definitely most happy it's giving out good lighting and it's just plain awesome...on the right of course. lol

Sigh Choked.

looking guud ;] [thumbs up] to be honest, it ALMOST looks like my 7000k, but then again it probably is hard to tell the difference from 8000k and 7000k lol look on the bulb holding itself, might be labeled there.

Looks like 4300K on the left and 6000K (what I have now from XX)
weird.
Contact George about it he'll send a new bulb(s) for the color temp you wanted.

but has anyone ever had the kit installed and not go bad on them for over 2-3 years?
i have xetronics on my old car, but i just got a new fit. and i looking to get hids too. xetronics cost like 300-400. but these xenith brand kit is like only about 100. i want to give it a try. but has anyone had theirs for more than 2-3 years?
i had my xetronics for over 4 years and have no problem. my co worker has it over 6 years and no problems.

It's different brand so different calculations. XX doesn't carry 7000K.

i kno, thats y im sayin its way off, because i kno the left is 8000k or higher because its blue-er than mine. and i say its not 4300k because it is juss a wee bit softer/whiter than mine

I'm pretty confident to say that the left is lower than 8000K and right is either 8000K or 6000K.

lol. left can't be 8000K man. Even so, they're going to have to send me two new bulbs because I don't know which is which. They came with plastic caps that said 8000K so I don't think that means anything anymore.

Sigh. Wherever you are George, godspeed and help me out please. I'm so frustrated and confused on what I should do.

Do you think I can return these 'Xenon Xenith" bulbs and purchase some HID bulbs locally? Like Js or Smarteye?

I has my kit for almost two year never had a problem with it. plus with newer design of the kit it last longer and better usage of power...

break in period is about a few long session cycle.... and should turn stable afterward and then there is a warm up where the bulb may like different but afterward they are the same. Give a few more long cycle and it should be both the same temp.

Give him call tomorrow at 1626 617 9097 and I would not recommend mix company with other company bulbs and ballast.
