My HIDextra review... $90! :P

Bought myself a set of Bi-Xenon 6k HID from HIDextra and they were a great vendor... my kit cost me $90 and i got it in the following day of ordering...

the installation was quick and easy... took my bout a good hour and a half to two... heas some pixies...

The glare seems to be just slightly more than stock. Are you going to aim them down a bit?

i think its jux the pix... and i was on the drive way... might of pionted them upwards...

if you havnt touched the adjustment than leave it alone, i adjusted mine before i got hids and i will never get them back to the way they were before, i dont know if im higher or lower than i should be since people still flash me no matter what i do, but hey i dont care as long as i can see much better!

what you guys should be doing.... Although it is a more costly and time consuming path.



This is obvisouly not finished yet, you can see the wires out the solenoid still sticking out, and i just put the lens on to see what it would kind of look like, it still requires painting the reflector bowl as well. You guys really should consider doing things properly instead of being like everybody and just installing some cheap HID systems which is really terrible. Its what really points out to those that really know what they are doing vs just some ricey stuff.
heres some other ideas for somepeople as well.



all LED's are mounted perfectly flushed and are all tapped into the factory dome light switch so it all fades out. I also bought just the ambient light switch itsself and wired it to turn on all the lights manually as well.

Heres some pics of my old TL with custom headlights i made.




So much creative things can be done if you put your mind to it, open your headlights or even tailights and make something creative and do it right. Just my 2 cents, anyway have a good one. Peace.

those are nice retros/projectors, but they're just too crazy expensive.

nice review. haha sounds familiar.

yea but i like mines stock and clean ya know... all them lights are too fancy for me...
