DIY bolt on projector review

k
so i got my kit off ebay for $125us + $30us shipping from USA to CANADA..it is the best deal you can fine.!
kit comes with everything BUT the 2 ballast

so after many weeks of planning and thinking, i finally got a chance to finish it this past weekend, thanks to Aaron for lending me his jdm headlights so i can have some kind of lighting while i have my set of lights off for retrofitting.

over all the process is very easy..but i will not do it again cuz it takes too much time.

besides the fact that the lighting SUCKS, and one angel eye didn't work. the projectors are good, it is not blinding at all " may be cuz it is not bright at all "

but most importantly it can't be 100% tighten due to the fact that there isa rubber bushing that needs to be there to hold the projector, and the rubber is too soft so over any bump, it will vibrate ! !! it pisses me off

but anyways for $150us i cannot complain,
here are some pic

It's an Ebay product. What do you expect? There's a reason why MY kit is so much more.

- LOTS of light output
- No vibrations over bulbs
- Angel eyes work
- i would have done the install

You get what you pay for right?

How about some more pix of ur ride! I see the custom orange and flat black theme ur going there.

I also like the led rings. Did u do that yourself or did u buy the led ring custom made cuz it looks perfectly symmetrical.

if i had to decide wether to get cheap stuff like urs, or 600, i would buy the 600 really, its some money out the pocket yes, but while u save, u can buy 7000k xenon bulbs for 20 bucks brighter than that too lol the only thing i REALLY like about this, is that there is a halo for the turn signals, very interested in that. not sure if the $600 comes with it. question: being that the turn signal has a bright halo, can you still see if the turn signal is engaged/flashing?

well... my partner that lives in china was telling me that you can change those cheapy projectors into d2s or something like that bulbs... they sell the connectors for like $5-10 bucks or so... dunno... just an opinion. Its always nice to know people from around the world. lol

its all the same buddy
I don't like the halo cuz its not a full circle as there's about an inch where the front and ends are that doesn't light up

Yes these are d2r bulbs
I am looking to change those very soon

Do you have pictures of when you bolted the projector to the reflector? I bought something like this and want to know if there is anyway to modify that rubber bushing you are talking about so that there won't be any vibrations.

I found this company out and a few other people have bought from them and was very happy with the product. The G3 projectors look very good. The cut off is very sharp and is comparable to the higher OEM ones. Maybe I should do a GB on these?

Well I don't know if Fit of Rage used this companies projectors for the GB. Because it would have been superless. In the range of $150-$200.
