note to installation, there is a bottom screw on these tailamps; it can be reached from underneath the rear bumper if you have a long screw driver



3 - 8mm nuts from the inside




LED board and cover for the new Tails
note - on the driver side the back up light wire needs to be extended approx 2"
on the passenger side, the turn signal wire needes to be extended approx 2"

wow. i like it a lot.... and a lot better then the clear JDM tails. what tails do these come stock on? Euro models?

I want to get this tailight too. I know how can I order it, but can you tell me how to do exten the wire? So, it is not plug and play to convert to LED Tailight?

its almost plug and play
extended the wire by soldering a longer piece on, it is quite a very simple job!

pretty much just cut the wires on a couple plugs
get some wire and solder it to make it longer, not that hard to do and will take approx 15-20 minutes

 

Just curious, are the backup and turn signal bulbs the same for these as the USDM -- did you just use what you already had?

 

Yes they are all the same between the JDM and USDM ones

 

do anyone know the smoke tailght is legal in US or not?

Are the amber turn signals LED, too? Or just the brakes lights? Parking lights are also LED, I assume?
