Upon further review, I noticed a couple things, one the base cars are done in this dark plastic and honestly, it would look better on our "sport" model for sure but something else, the cap that goes over the headlight bulb is open on the base car and covered on ours, why

 

I'm surprised with the wealth of knowledge on this forum that my question has gone unanswered, maybe the right person(s) has yet to see it

 

They've talked about the light bulb cover on here before, as to why they are different, there really wasn't a solid reason found. As for the color, chrome is supposed to be make the care bit more expensive looking, thus the sport version is more expensive, they added it. That's my conclusion anyways.

 

Your point makes plenty of sense, but next time they should look at the tuner market and adjust accordingly and as far as the people who buy the car for commuting, they will not even care, so give us the sporty, black headlights from the get go, thanks Honda
