Mounting auxiliary driving lights?

Without taking my front bumper apart yet.

Has anyone found a nice place to mount some driving lights in the lower grill?

I find on the long drives across deer country that having some lights that I can aim a little further and wider down the road would be handy. (off obviously when encountering oncoming traffic)

I already have a couple kits picked out but haven't seen anyone else mount something like this before. I've also considered mounting them to a roof rack but thought that may look a little...strange.

Example of the lamps:

In for this because this is on my to-do list. Never lived anywhere with as much fog as there is here and now I actually need some for purpose instead of style points.

I was just planning on attaching to bumper on the top side and putting a small plate on the inside of the mounting point for support.

I considered mounting them topside but I'm worried about them vibrating.

there is the bumper support behind the bumper cover but I need to make some considerable modifications to make it clean looking.

Anyone?

If you attempt to install after market driving lights, you will likely tear the bumper over a period of time. It's better to buy the OEM kit, take the bumper cover off, and follow the directions supplied. Also, an HID headlamp bulb conversion kit may help.

I mounted my LEDs here. Mostly for show.
