A led went out on my 12 led clear honda GD JDM CHMSL I searched high and low for a good priced replacement with no luck... I ordered a used USDM GE8 led CHMSL off ebay for cheap and with a few modes it worked!!! First you gently separate (carefully break) the plug from the GE8 brake light housing. You need to do this to push out the 2 pins in the connector and swap there position.(many videos and diy on the web for how to push out pins) Negative needs to be where positive is and vice versa.This can easily be done but be careful. I used a 9volt battery with leads to determine what one is + and what is - Next take a hot screwdriver or dermal to make the mounting holes longer (opposite direction of lens) so it will slide towards the window. and thats it!!
