How do you remove the dome light cover? It's not shown in the owners manual and I don't want to nick up my head liner experimenting....

 

just take a flat head and pop it off.. be sure not to scratch the surround though

Mission of self discovery revealed the following:
The tabs in the dome lens are on the front and back not the sides
You're best off prying from the rear (away from the switch)
Snaps back in the same as it went out.
...and the blue relacement LED block is TOO COOL!

 

hey, i am interesting on how did you replace the blue LED block ? do you have the steps (perfered with Picture) describe more? Thanks ya ..

 

Always wrap a flat blade screwdriver in a cloth to reduce the chance of scratching when it slips.

 

what size led did you use?

 

No pics sorry - it's like changing a fuse - other than the cover removal a 5 year old could do it.
Bought the LED block (6 elements) off a board vendor...
