Organization / Where do you put your stuff?!

Hi everyone!
Im new to the fit, I’ve had it for a little less than a week now.
I’m coming from a 2016 Honda Civic, and I’m trying to adjust to not only what seems to be the lack of electronic functions/options but organization.

I feel like the middle console area where the cup holders and everything should be is super awkward. I have to lunge forward so far to reach the cup holder and storage area. Where do you guys put your phones? I normally keep ways on my phone and my side view camera on during the drive and I can peek at both because driving in downtown LA is crazy.

I can’t seem to find where to put my phone and other little things that are close.
I feel like the whole no arm rest area is also weird and uncomfortable, any suggestions?
Also trying to figure out how to better organize / hide my hatchback trunk without shelling out even more cash, I saw an idea with a foam board, but I feel like I’ll break it in a month. Any other ideas?

Also joined to look at cool cosmetic things that are fairly simple to do inside and out, I’ve never done anything cool with my cars, and don’t really know how to do anything. But I love the size of the car, and the thought I just want to improve a couple things if anyone has struggled with those areas.

I also don’t even know if this is an option, but I don’t like the dash area where says how fast your going, etc. I feel like it really lacks where as my civic digitally said how fast your going and all that stuff is there any way to change this area? And what’s with the little black box on the right that tells you oil/gas left/ if you scroll it just turns black and says nothing, is there anything you can do with that?

Its a 2019 Honda Ex.
Thanks guys!

The middle is the same awkward little area I have in my car.

Do you still have your Fit? And did you test drive one prior to buying? Seems odd that you'd have so many issues. *shrugs*

Before you bought the car, and hopefully you test drove it, didn't you get a good feel for the interior for what would or wouldn't work for you? Other than loving the size of the car, it doesn't look like the Fit fits what you want/need. Hopefully you kept the Civic.

I need to start looking at the dates of the original post. This one is old and I need coffee before I start reading these forums in the morning.
