you have a link to the canadian scosche so we can all see this i am a skeptica on this i ask scosche guy and he told me he the only one with this

 

Well all i can say is this: He's picking them up monday,and then im going to go get it on monday or tuesday.Ill take a picture of it when i get it.They are a professional company and i dont think ill have any problems.

 

I'll be very interested in what scoscheguy has to say about all of this.

 

Yeah i dont mean to start anything with anybody here or with scoscheguy.I think it's great that he's doing the group buy for everybody,it's just that i've found something that benifits me more,so i thought i'd share.I just hope there are no problems.We'll see.

 

I think it's been posted that the Metra kits are shipping. Metra has kind of been the standard in the aftermarket bracket market for a long time. Primarily known for very inexpensive interfaces...in both quality and looks. Since most cars make it easy to remove the stock radio, then the Metra kits would suffice...eliminating the need for upgraded quality.

However, since we're replacing the entire panel, I don't think skimping on quality is a good idea. And being able to land this kit for $45 (cdn) makes me really wonder about the fit and finish of the piece. Just ask Scoscheguy how much similar kits that they make go for...ones that have to replace the entire panel like in our Fit. I'm sure they're all going to ballpark about the same...roughly somewhere in the $85-$100 retail area.

Of course, we could all be wrong, but I'm 99.9% sure that this isn't a Scosche kit. And knowing the quality of their kits for other vehicles, the Scosche kit won't disappoint.

 

Scoscheguy: Would it be possible to verify whether or not I made it on the second list?
I am just curious cause I am getting the jitters... lol I'm more excited over this than getting the Fit in the first place

scoscheguy --were is he now not on for 6 days now like to know how it comeing thay took the money out of my bank acct. up-date on this scoscheguy keep us up-date on this and i see your guy selling part for his car so how you going to test the new kit now.

Yeah well tuesday is over and no dash kit.The place that i was going to get the dash kit from went to pick it up on monday,and the guy there said they didn't have any.They had told the person i ordered it from that they had 2 sitting right there and they would be ready for pickup on monday.Well the guy didn't have them.My guy was lied to.So They appologized to me and blah blah blah......anyways,i dont have it so take your shots,tell me how right you guys are and how wrong i was.Then we'lll get on with life.It's sorta shitty that some guy said they had it,but whatever guess ill have to wait for it again.Whoever got my spot hope you enjoy your dash kit.

 

Oh,and i apologize for coming on here and saying all this stuff about how im getting a kit here,guess i should have waited till i found out.Hope i didn't crap on your thread scoscheguy.
