thanks for the link.. i'm reading it now....

The only difference I see is the Built-in PMD-B200 dock.

dunno what that is but i'm going to do some research..

Thomas,, go on trips,, get lost on purpose and make an excuse of purchasing the combo so you won't ever get lost again! =)

DIY installers! Do you guys think there will be a wiring harness for plug and play or are we gonna have to do a little splicing? My stock deck already has a line leveler in it installed by Best Buy, so if installing the W200/5 with cutting wires and splicing, I'll remove the line leveler. But it will be nice as hell if there will be a plug and play harness for our Fits... I think Scoches guys are making harnesses for our car???? I'm really good at soldering so it should be a snap to install this thing. I just don't know how to take the stock radio out. =(

Also,, since taking out the stock deck, I wonder what the stock deck is worth. I'm sure the Base Fit guys would love to buy our stock Sport deck..

it's easy to just splice into the factory harness, but it's worth it to me to drop 15 on a harness and same myself the bother of working under the dash.

That happens on ALL In dash Screens.
You had a hack to make it work when you´re in gear. PAC made a video Bypass:

With all of the head units listed, are we going to lose the tweeters or is there a way to keep them?

jsmonet, I would also pay $15 for a harness, but really all we need to know is what color wire does what on the OEM deck. Just takes a little longer splicing...

wandulus Great! info. I will have to get me one of those. I like how it comes with a switch.

Thomas, I bet the front door speakers are wired with the front tweaters. But either way you can always wire it up on a aftermarket deck.

Hey Kevin,
Where did you pre-order your W205 gear from in Markham? Sounds like a good price.

I got mine here in a small town, but there are also other locations near you.

If you need any help getting that price, LMK.

Yo gonna not lose them. If you wire the new HU to the stock install, you still had the stock tweeters working.

I think this will be the head unit I'm getting. I figured that the double din ones look GREAT and flush. but for security purposes have the screen tucked away is a GREAT feature for the single din.. Then I can have the bottom din as storage. :-) Not a bad price for a 7" lcd

Is there a touch screen that has Bluetooth so we talk to people on our cell phones through our car speakers and a mic in the screen? Kinda like how BMWs are now if you get the BMW Assist option. Everyone in my house hold has this option in their cars (we bought three 07' BMW's and an 07' Fit ) and it would be nice to have it in the Fit. I would also like it to have NAV and play DVDs, DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs, CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and MP3/WM, and also be able to control my Ipod/watch video through the screen. yeah, I know it's alot to ask for and It's not gonna be cheap either.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Pioneer AVIC Fourm

I stumbled across a great AVIC forum today. It has alot of info on the Pioneer AVIC-D3 and other AVICs. Worth looking at for those who are considering this unit.
