shift boot ring & gauge cluster rings *painted*

Ok got a little bored so decided to paint the ring that is around the shift boot on the center consule & my gauge cluster rings. It came out really good? painted it Milano red(same as the car) tell me what you think?

nice it looks clean. did u buy like a spray paint or something? i got an exact matching spray paint and clear coat from paintscratch.com and was wondering fi u did the same. I am going to get the full 10 piece interior kit and paint those rather then the oem parts on the car. looks good nevertheless good job.

its pretty easy. theres two clips, one on each side of your center console. theyre located on the very beginning of it. after you take those off (push the center of the clips to take them off) there are two screws on the rear of the console, one on each side, unscrew those and youre good to good. dont pull hard, because you have to disconnect your aux jack and what not. gl

Great advice, will definitely try it out - if successful, I hope I can post some pics, too - thanks again!

I was going to do this, too - got a BOM A/T. Along with the gauge cluster and shifter bezel (nice work on yours, btw), I was going to paint the silver pieces on the steering wheel. You can't have too much BOM, IMO. Uh, FTW.

Looks good! I'm not good at masking, so it'd probably look like crap if I did it. Someone (hint hint Zeta and anyone else!) should make a ring for the circle around the shifter!

the ring pops off so no masking it off. zeta products would rob ppl if they came up with something like that lol
