USDM vs everyone else Mugen seat covers

Hey guys and gals from overseas. Does anyone know if the mugen seat covers fit your rear head rests? Aside from japan which is an obvious "Yes."

for those who dont know what im talking about, Mugen makes a nice set of black seat covers. However I hear that the mugen head rest covers for the rear seats do not fit.

here are some pictures.

I saw the JHPUSA Fit when I picked some Mugen stuff up for my car a while back and If I remember correctly, they don't fit the rear seat head rests.

do you mean the stock head rests dont fit back into the seat with the covers on? Kinda like how you lose the middle headrest cause the seat cover blocks the holes.

or that the Mugen covers for the rear headrests dont fit on stock USDM head rests?

There are a couple other problems with the seat covers as well.

Please search this topic as it has been covered off before.

You can make the rear head rest covers work, although you will have to trim some of the foam out of them to make them fit. That's what I did.

Here's a picture of my headrests. They do not come with the side airbag cutout. Although, you can have a good shop that is familiar with leater seat installs make the holes. I have a leather kit from Katzin in a old car and even that kit didn't come with the side airbag holes, so it's not really a hard thing to do.

They're not on JHP's website, so it's probably a special order.

They are on King's website for $835.

BTW, before anyone goes off and orders these, you do know about the hole in the back of the drivers seat, right?

Just for comparison sake, here's a JDM headrest & USDM headrest:

and the JDM headrests do fit in the USDM headrest brackets.
