Pictures of the new Alpine H/U
I just finished installing the Alpine CDA-9887 H/U and Casopolis Scangauge DIN mount in my Fit. I love it. I really hate that empty pocket they give you for under the radios and I didn't want to get a full DIN unit since I spend a lot of time in downtown Pittsburgh. I was concerned with someone getting sticky fingers.....if they could see in the windows that is....
If you're in the same situation or have an aftermarket H/U and are thinking of getting a Scangauge for your FIT, I highly recommend the Casopolis mount for under the radio, unless you have other plans for that space.
Anyways, here's a few pictures of the finished install.

It doesn't list the Fit as an available vehicle, but I talked to their tech support before I bought it and it works with the Fit fine. I have one in both of my vehicles. It's a really simple install....just plug it into the car's computer port under the drivers side dash, mount it somewhere and you're done.

replacing the stock radio correct me if i am wrong...
one needs to purchase the 1 din radio and a scoche harness for the wiring the aftermarket to the factory wiring..
a scoche trim kit to go around the radio?
and if you want a scanguage you go to scangauge site get one there and to the Casopolis site for the trim to go around the scanguage?
how do you remove the factory radio?

The Scosche comes with the trim pieces and since I bought my radio off of Crutchfield, they included the harness and the antenna adapter for free. I just needed to splice the new headunit harness to the crutchfield harness and I was all set. Currently, the Scangauge site is the only place that I know of that offers the Scangauge other then some retail locations.
And the bracket for the Scangauge came from Casopolis Design, LLC
