I have a skin tight polycarbonate shell that clips to the front of the psp. but with the way that holder is designed, it interferes with the screen cover. the one good thing is that it wont interfere with the gsp reciever which plugs into the top of the psp. They should have designed the holder like the back of a BROADWAY mirror. with telescoping arms.

anyway I also have an uglhy wire to hook it up to my aux and I can watch psp movies. haha

HAHAHAAAA.. Thats one of my favorite movs! 5th Element is amazing. I gots it on my PSP too...

well I got my GPS receiver on tuesday. IT IS FREAKING AWESOME. so my free backup PSP, that I found a while back abandoned in a GAP, is now a dedicated entertainment/GPS system for my honda fit.

This is the 3d tracking mode

And there is even a night viewing mode

I'm glad you got your MapThis to work!
I should mount my psp on the driver side cause I have mine in the middle and it works and all but on my trip to Vegas I could barely see the map cause of the sun glare

tainogunslinger - Which firmware are you running Sony or Custom?

ahh see you are driving at the wrong time. Im from Burbank and it takes me 3 hours to get to my parents hosue in Henderson. (but I drive late at night) hehe. really really fast. actually I only got to Henderson in 3 hours like twice. normally it takes 3.5 - 4 hours for me.

I tried it in the center but I have a big problem, Im lazy. I like putting up my reflective sunshade/screen for my window when I park my Fit. and the PSP mount gets in the way. but when it is attached to the side I dont have that problem. For long trips, which I have yet to do in the Fit, I imagine that I would mount the PSP in the center so my GF and I can enjoy a movie or use the GPS.

i'm running the latest from Sony.

my ceramic white PSP 2000 comes in today... wonder if it will work w/ the mount i've been using w/ my current psp.

i also have mine mounted on the side. it is easier to see and easier to reach if i want to switch songs

yeah, i did for a while, but i didn't like having all those wires going all over the place lol, bad enough w/ just the aux cable and at times power cable for long trips

with it in the corner, i just tap the shoulder button to skip songs and its only a few inches from where my hand would be on the steering wheel, so its all good

FYI guys....

new PSP SLim doesn't clip/fit into any of the current car mounts out there

guess i won't be using it to listen to music in the car.

besides that, its awesome... so much lighter

I bought mine off Play Asia. I've had good experiences with them so I trust them more than a random ebay seller.

Heres the link to it.
