i thought of something similar to that. i was going to buy a milano red scratch repair pen ( you can get one at auto zone for like 6 bucks around here ). thats what i used to fill the h's in my old accords center caps. but id prefer a genuine honda part before making an attempt at the paining my wheel.

you better look into how the airbag deploys. make sure you wont embed this emblem in your forehead.

i had a plastic chevy bowtie on my old s-10's steering wheel and when i took it to my dealer, they said that the way the steering wheel splits during airbag deployment, the emblem would stab me straight in the forehead.

i have no airbag in the drivers side of my fit. i figure id rather knock out my front teeth than have a m-1000 blow up in my face. teeth are easier to fix than 3rd degree burns are.

teeth schmeeeth...hahaaa
my airbag broke my sternum (and possibly one or two ribs)
from personal experience the emblem (from my crash as well as my friends) the emblem is still attached but on just one of the flaps. If it was a real danger (factory)it would not be there. Aftermarket or messing with
it...idunno...either it wont do a darn thing (like most stockers) or it
would effff ya up!
ugh...bad memories....ugh....

this looks pretty tight, but is the vinyl really flimsy like a sticker or it is semi durable like a thin plastic?? cus if its just a sticker type thing then i would reconsider
