replacement carpet for 07 fit sport

i went to ACC: your authority for custom automotive carpet, floor mats, and more to see if they carry carpet for the 07 fit and this is what they wrote back

Hi, thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, at this time we don’t carry anything for this vehicle. I will add this to my vehicle inquiry list and hopefully we will carry something for it in the future. The more requests we get for a vehicle, the better the chance of us getting a mold for it. If you have any more questions, just let me know.

Thanks

honda carpet replacement?

How much does Honda charge for their carpet as a part? Since the carpet is so "sparse" (lame) to start with what are they charging for the carpet as a part?

I wrote them. Hopefully they'll make replacement carpet with integrated padding/sound deadening material.

FYI, if anyone's interested in direct OEM replacement (ugh), it's about $200 from Majestic Honda, either the grey or black.

Hey, I had a Honda Element with the rubber/vinyl floors. Do you think there is any way to get something like that for the Fit? I'm always carrying dirty bikes, running, shoes and my dog. So it would be really nice.

I thought I would bring this one back from the dead. I have almost 55,000 on the little girl and my carpet, even though I've always use mats looks like hell. Why did they cheap out so bad on the carpet? Anyone have any like on finding a non factory replacement?

I have right at 99k miles on mine, and yes, the carpet is awful. I took the seats out when I installed my Buddy Club short shifter with Mugen knob to top it off, it's beautimus... off topic a bit but anyways I spent a long while but finally got the carpet almost semi-clean. =)

OEM is no an option for the price, I hope something eventually comes out. I would be happy with just a rubber mold without carpet like runbikerun suggested, I already have all-season floor mats that are worn the hell out, why not add to the fun!

I also like the idea of a vinyl rubber like floor covering. The ultimate easy care vehicles I've owned were VW Things with drain plugs in the floor for hosing out and also a GMC Safari Cargo Van with vinyl floor covering in front and just painted in the cargo area. I would just spray it out at the car wash.... A car as small as a Fit should have very easily removed seats so you can really get in there and clean and vacuum at least.

We've had our Fit Sport for about 4 months, its a 08, but the carpet is pulling up from the sides. The passenger side lookes like a dog that just got in a fight with patches of fur missing. I dont understand how it could look this bad. ANy ideas??...i ordered some ebay GD mats that are suppose to be a perfect fit to the car finally cuz i was sick of the carpet not staying in place. im hoping this will fix or at least prevent the carpet from pulling up.

Do i need to pull up the plastics to some how resecure the carpet?..ive never seen carpet do anything quite like this :/

I'm contemplating doing a sound deadening project on the fit and I'd LOVE to find "carpet kit" (premolded and precut) that was superior to the crappy OEM carpet. I've researched it and found such kits for the accord, civic etc. but NOTHING for the fit. It sucks having "balding" carpet and it wasn't that great on the day I bought the car!

Has anyone found any options for this? I hate everything short of perfection.

Still looks like no one has an answer for this problem. The mats i bought still dont prevent the carpet from pulling up...even if i retuck it under the plastic panels it still looks like a mess.. WE NEED NEW CARPET PEOPLE!!
