Thanks Gawa!

I know it's an old thread but nobody seemed to pitch in with their set-up.
I like your interior, so clean and simple.

Does the srs bypass go for all the Works Bell kits?

I'm not sure if Works Bell hubs include an SRS bypass module but it came with the Daikei hub - though I bought the hub used.

Hmm. Was just wondering 'coz I read that only Works Bell makes hubs with the srs bypass.

I'm going to buy a qr/wheel set-up for myself in Xmas. Going to get the Momo Monte Carlo.

Oh... I'm not too sure. Maybe someone else can chime in on that. :S

Nice choice of wheel.
I found that with the quick release pushing the wheel closer to the driver, the driving position feels a lot better, in my case anyway.

I want my set-up to be the same distance as the stock one. I just want it to be removable for extra security (and looks!).

I think the main reason why you don't see a lot of set ups for the fits is because the fit is such a practical car that the quick release/steering wheel/hub combos are more of on the extreme side of mods for it. the fit already has very quick steering so you're sacrificing safety for looks, security (do fits get stolen/vandlized often?), and even quicker steering.

the works bell hubs should be completely plug and play to where it'll have a resistor for the airbag, allows you to retain the OEM clockspring, and should be plug and play for the horn.

I guess that is true. I wanna go for a quick release set-up mainly because of security and second for looks.

Or maybe there's not a lot of people who has the courage to try it out yet (unlike Gawa)?

I have one, but not on my fit I would be losing too much from doing so on my fit (audio controls, voice commands, cruise control, and most importantly, the airbag). Also, since losing an airbag from going with an aftermarket seat, did not want to lose another.

Ohh. So your first set-up was a bit longer than stock distance?
I'm going to contact Evasive for the Works Bell short hub, then maybe an NRG quick release plus my Momo wheel.

Yea, without the quick release, the momo wheel sat a bit shorter than stock distance, with the quick release it's a good amount longer. The Rapfix/Rapfix II is like 60mm long or something.

The short hub should help you maintain that stock distance feel though.

Although it feels the same as stock, itd be more great if it it was out towards the driver more. Im gonna switch out the hub soon with the regular Works Bell Hub.

Anybody know the lengths of the worksbell shorthub and the regular hub?
