NEW JDM Honda Goodies

Has anyone else seen the latest goodies Honda of Japan is offering? Kinda neat if you ask me.

I personally wouldn't mind the LED Ashtray even though I don't smoke, as it would make for a nifty little change holder. Hell I'd even be tempted to take the LED Interior Dome Light too since they're both available for "GD1,2,3,4".

Unfortunately not, and realistically you'll never really get that "New Car Smell" back unfortunately, as it's truly the combination of smells from the fresh adhesives, plastics, etc.

However they do have:

"6 types, you can seek HONDA original essential oil at the dealership. Orange paradise fresh citron
Coral mint lavender drop
Pin key vin rose pure herb"

I didnt really know that other people knew about the curing and degassing of new cars materials.
Since you knew that you might love this...
I Am a SFX model and mold maker and work with chemicals quite a bit, I made an interesting batch of an inhibited cure urethane mostly base with just a touch of cat (for low reaction purposes) lightly smeared on a piece of heavily textured styrene, about 1 and 3/4 wide and 2 and 3/4 long with only a thickness of maybe .020" and left it in the heat of the sun on my dash and got damn close to the smell of a new car (close enough to make me smile, and no that wasnt due to the fumes) And it last a darn good while, like 2-3 weeks. If you ever happen to carry around a large sheet of styrene in the car on a hot day you can also get close to that illusive new car smell.

Thanks about that oils thing at the dealership, didnt know that, I will check it out! Thanks agian.

I cannot, but I have already asked Ben from A&J Racing, and he's able to.

I don't smoke, so that would be one heck of an expensive spare change holder in my car. Solar-powered illumination on an ashtray... you gotta love it.
